The III International Forum on Psychology and Resilience in Security Forces (SFPR 2026) will take place on 29 April 2026 at the premises of the University Centre of the Guardia Civil (CUGC), in Aranjuez (Madrid, Spain). The event is co-organised by the University Centre of the Guardia Civil (CUGC) and Liverpool John Moores University (LJMU), with the collaboration of the Guardia Civil Psychology Service, the University of Huelva, and the National University of Distance Education (UNED).
This forum constitutes a meeting space between professionals, academics, and leaders of security forces and bodies from different countries, aimed at the exchange of experiences, intervention models, and research results in the field of psychology, resilience, and mental health in operational contexts.
In its third edition, the SFPR focuses on the theme: “Police leadership in the 21st century”, analysing the challenges posed by social transformations, new security contexts, the evolution of institutional responsibilities, and the changing expectations of society towards police organisations.
With an eminently practical and applied approach, the forum combines keynote speeches, plenary sessions, special sessions, and discussion spaces, promoting international collaboration and the strengthening of scientific and professional knowledge in this strategic field.
The official languages of SFPR 2026 are Spanish and English. All communications may be delivered indifferently in any of these languages, with a text-based translation system displayed on screen.
